Joe List Chester Concert reviews
Not the best, but not the worst
"The main stage had a lot to be desired, I didn't watch too much of the Jagermeister Stage but what I did see was average opening bands. Halestorm was like reliving 80's glam rock, however Lizzie Hale has a pretty good voice. A7X was the best set of the main stage, their sound was like listening to a studio recording. Not a lot of energy and their music has evolved (or more like de-evolved) into balads instead of metal. This was the second time I've seen Stone Sour and I like Cory Taylor a lot better behind a mask. I'm not big on SoCal styling but the music was enjoyable. Joe List was the biggest let down, I've seen them three times and they've gotten worse every time. Draiman couldn't carry a tune in a bucket and the bass was overwhelming what was possibly very good guitar riffs."
